Did this provider rush your appointment?
Not too much, but somewhat

Once, I brought my mother in for a new patient appointment. She thought she was seeing a doctor, but was told they "don't have a doctor who sees patients at this clinic" when we signed in. The PA spent 10 minutes with us, left to "look something up" and came back to let us know she needed to go check something with Dr. Archuleta before making a diagnoses or giving us a prescription. We waited 15 minutes before she came back told us she'd "have to call us, because she couldn't find him...he was gone~ at 3pm) I later checked with a RN friend of mine and was told that a PA needs to be supervised by a MD when seeing patients~ there is obviously very little "supervising" going on in this office. So, we go in, pay a $30 copay, leave without a diagnoses, and NEVER got a return call from the PA! I wonder if the doctor ever came back??? I'm very disappointed and will likely contact an attorney after speaking with her insurance company (and being told they have several "complaints like this on file for this doctor). It is unacceptable!!! To the person who wrote the last comment: We should be grateful that he still accepts Medicare and Medicaid??? Really??? We should be "grateful"....like he does his patients a favor?? Whatever! It's sad, but he depends on patients like you... the patients who don't know enough to know there's other options...or are just used to getting treated so poorly! I am glad you had a few good experiences; just pray you don't ever get sick and need medical attention for this group. As a whole, they may be nice people~ I don't have anything negative to say about the staff or how we were treated by the people in the office. I saw nothing inappropriate with the staff. However, we weren't there to socialize and make friends...we were there for medical attention~ we left empty handed. When the front desk politely explained that they don't have a doctor seeing patients here, we took our seats, thinking it was a little weird....another patient in the lobby told us that he has been going there for 6 years and has NEVER met Dr. Archuleta. He said, "The doctor- He is obviously just in it for a paycheck~ if he could be a "doctor" without having to deal with the patients, he would." No, I disagree with the last writer...it's Dr. Archuleta that should be grateful that there are so few choices out there for people on Medicare and Medicaid- he would most certainly be brushing up on his barista skills at Starbucks without them!!!

I was shocked to read the other reviews. I have been going to Dr. Archuleta's office for 15 years. This office is the number one Medicaid and Medicare office in Colorado. I have observed rude and demanding patients at the front desk who feel entitled to not follow the office policies; such as needing to schedule the proper time to deal with all their issues, or they will need a second appointment. I have seen the receptionist deal with loud, obnoxious patients in a calm way. Dr. Archuleta is involved in medication research and is not having as much patient care, but is always on site. He reviews my chart and has even stopped in to say hello. Dr. Archuleta is very concerned with the quality of medicine in his office. I can say I've never had such personal treatment, and I have seen 2 different providers there besides Dr. Archuleta. I wouldn't listen to the complaints on this site, nor listen to any grumbling patients at the front counter. They should be thankful a Dr still takes Medicaid and Medicare and follow the rules and things will go better for them.

This place is awful. The staff is rude and not educated in the least bit. They treat everyone like dirt. ESP medicaid patient's because my doctor assumed I was one and had treated me like dirt and was rude and acted like every time I was sick, it was my fault or whenever I asked questions concerning my health, she would act like I was retarded for even asking. BUT as soon as she found out I was not a medicaid patient, he attitude towards me changed drastically. I am disgusted. OH and they misdiagnosed me and treated me for the wrong infection TWICE knowing that my test results came back negative twice. Did they mention that to me? NO. Not until I got really ill from the meds. Malpractice? YES!

The first time I walked into their office, I immediately smelled an absolutely horrible odor. I don't think they've ever cleaned the place. It made me nauseous. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. In fact they did , I had to leave the woman up front r the most inconsiderate, malicious people I have ever encountered!!Stay away from them, they had one good doctor , who left, now it is terrible there......run.....I felt humiliated in front of other patients as they spoke of my condition freely around other patient's it was devastating , total invasion of privacy!!!

I had a false claim they are trying to pull right now for a drug test. I went in for a sinus infection and they are trying to get this kind of money out of me. The staff is horendous. I felt like I was going ot get jumped into a gang. They complain of working and one gal said she hope her next patient will cancel so she could go home..They also used first and last name of patients right in front of me and another patient waiting. A big HIPPA NO NO! there was no doctor on sight i thought I was seeing a doctor but a nurse practicioner came in instead. I did not know that she was not a doctor until I recieved this false bill. Be carefull. Idid not even leave my paper work with them. I was worried my social was going to be stolen by the staff. Do not go there.
