The chairs they had in the waiting room were pretty high quality. I thought they were nice and comfortable. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. Their office equipment was in good shape and looked very current. I felt like everything was very safe.

Even after treating our family (including the terminal illness of my mother) this doctor still treats us well by listening and not taking us for granted.

There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy.

Due to many life situations, I've switched doctors a various times in my life (but never due to wanting to find another doctor). I always come back. He has treated me and my siblings since we were young. He treats my parents still. And he's now treating my kids too. I've tried several pediatricians in town (again... never due to lack of wanting them to see Dr. O'Donnell), and in the end, I feel discouraged because I wish every doctor was as attentive, caring, listening, and educated as this man. As far as my family goes, one or the other of us have been treated various times for: sports injuries, sickness, medical disorders, depression, broken limbs or needing stitches, A.D.D, heart conditions, possible sexual abuse issues, severe eczema, nursing, weaning, migraines, uti's, cancerous skin spots, etc. It doesn't matter what it is, the man knows his stuff and he's so gentle and actually bothers explaining to you what the problem is and what needs to happen.

The only complaint I have is that the wait can sometimes be long. But I never mind waiting because I know WHY I'm waiting. I'm waiting because he takes his time with each patient. Never rushing you or dismissing your concerns. The other reason the wait can sometimes be long is because he tries his best to fit emergencies in instead of sending his patients to a random (usually disgusting) clinic. If you call in with a sick baby or a ripped out knee, he'll almost always find a way to fit you in in the next couple hours (and many, MANY times, skips his lunch altogether to ensure he gets to see everyone who needs him). And so I don't mind waiting because he's helped me so many times that way. And meanwhile, he has a lovely little play area set up for my kids to play while we wait. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this doctor.

Dr. O'Donnell has been my physician since I moved to in 1992. I am a retired respiratory therapist (RRT) and worked in the Penrose-St Francis healthcare system for 9+ years and sometimes was privileged to work with him in that setting. Not only is Dr. O'Donnell a concerned and caring professional, he treats his co-workers with kindness and respect.
