Go to someone else please. Dr Stroud needs to retire. He’s too old, too feeble and too cranky to be practicing medicine. You have Aton of money, retire before you ruin more lives!

I don't understand the positive reviews I'm reading because my experience was so different. I initially visited for hoarseness and was sent to speech therapy. At a follow-up appointment I tried telling Dr. Stroud many other more troubling symptoms I had begun having: bad headaches, throbbing ear pain, vision difficulties, nerve issues, brain fog, and a general feeling of something not being right. He didn't even respond to my symptoms. I mean, he actually ignored everything...as if he hadn't heard me. The only thing I could get from him was, "I think you're misusing your voice and that's why it's still hoarse." I had just given him a list of other things and from researching tirelessly online I know my list of symptoms point to something neurological...even if it turns out to be something else. The fact that he dismissed what I was saying and feeling was very discouraging. I told him the hoarsness was the least of my worries and instead of talking with me he just thumbed through my file and then continued on talking about my chronic hoarseness. I left there completely defeated and cried on my way home.I have been let down by a few doctors in the past...dismissing things that turned out to be serious. But this was the most blatant dismissal of symptoms I have ever experienced from a doctor. I won't be going to my 6-week appointment because it was completely pointless for me to see Dr. Stroud in the first place. When I told him my ears had been throbbing, he looked inside and said they look fine. No other explanation as to why I'm feeling the pain I've been feeling. He's an ENT for crying out loud. If I have unexplained ear pain, I thought he was the type of doctor that was supposed to at least "try" to help me figure out a solution or root of the problem. The truth is, he came into my room with his mind made up that the appt was on my chronic hoarseness and that because I'm a librarian, I must overuse my voice. And that was all he would focus on. Not to mention, I use a microphone when teaching so I never really have to even raise my voice--which I explained to him.

By the way, I have never in my life left a bad review of any kind--whether it be for a restaurant, hotel, or doctor's office. But I couldn't let this go because of the way he made me feel. What's the point of being a doctor if you won't listen to a person's symptoms.

Dr. Stroud and his staff are fantastic. He provided one the most thorough and comfortable, personable exams that I have experienced. Brenda Hodge is an amazing hearing instrument specialist with a unique kindness that helps makes the transition to competent hearing aid management easy!

The Dr and staff are great! They got us in right away and started trying to diagnose and eliminate promptly. Dr Stroud was very "in tune" with what our problem is and is still trying to help though the problem turns out was not his area of expertise. He found a large mass in my husbands neck - did all the test and is sending us to someone that can help. VERY VERY pleased with not only him but his considerate empathizing and courteous staff. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance.

Yes, they listen to all complaints and make every effort to correct the situation.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
