I have been a patient of Dr. Meena Charan’s for 3 years and feel I finally found the doctor for me. She is extremely capable, kind and caring and is always there when I need her. She truly listens. She and her staff are excellent. I am thrilled to have the security of a doctor of her caliber.

I waited for 15 minutes before someone took notice that I was standing at the window waiting for the receptionist. I opened and closed the door three times (because it made a noise - thought I could get their attention) and finally I had to call the office from my cell phone before someone came out and told me, noapologetically, that they were eating lunch.

They were not prepared for what I needed for my visit (vaccinations, etc.), which I had confirmed twice on the phone when making the appointment. As a result, I had to be inconvenienced and come to two more appointments the following week.

I inquired about a prescription I had been on in the past. I described the medication - what it looked like, the active ingredient, etc. - and was met with a confused doctor. She had no idea what I was talking about. I finally convinced her to look it up for me. With my own research, I found the medication (and several others) easily by simply typing it into Google.

I was told that with my following appointments I would be able to walk right back. Instead, I waiting for 30 minutes each time, defeating the point of getting there right as they opened.

I have a good friend who works for the Department of Health. I should have listed when they advised me to avoid Holy Spirit and affiliates. I am not a picky person, but the lack of care, understanding, and comprehension of Dr. Charan and her staff are unbelievable. I would not recommend seeing this doctor.
