Dr Spero was recommended to us by a family friend. The circumstances that got us here were unfortunately difficult but a God send at the same time. My teenaged son is finally receiving the emotional care he needed. After roughly two months we see incredible progress in his self esteem, self awareness and confidence. My son understands what he did wrong, takes responsibility for it and with Dr Spero’s help he is learning never to repeat it. I could not be happier with the growth and improvement of my son’s behavior under Dr Spero’s care

At a time that I needed a doctor that would understand the way I think, I was lucky to have been referred to Dr. Spero. His style of therapy is unorthodox from what I have experienced in the past in that he uses a warm conversational approach to covering topics. I appreciate that the dialogue is not only intended to click during the session but rather throughout the week. In a very short time period, I am feeling a lot better and I would highly recommend Dr. Spero.

I have visited Dr Spero for a year. I am a middle man and suffer from depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Dr Spero's friendly, conversational-type therapy has given me confidence to face my daily challenges. I have seen other psychologists who do nothing but "listen" with stereotypical phrases like "how did that make you feel"? This approach might be good for some, but for me Dr. Spero's approach has led to numerous breakthroughs.

This doctor has changed my life for the better, one step at a time. Very down-to-earth and caring about patients. When I explain some of my troubles to him, he understands my "world" and sees things other people can't.

Dr Spero has been treating my daughter for 2 years , She trusts him completely. He always calls me back when I contact him. His staff is professional and will notify me if he is running behind.. I would . definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I have been taking my child to see Mitch Spero since December 2016. The only complaint I had was that our sessions were interrupted on occasion. This concern was addressed and the situation did improve.

Our first 2-3 visits consisted of testing and evaluations that revealed my child's specific personality traits and assisted in Dr. Spero's treatment plan.

I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Spero and am grateful that he has been able to assist my child with the myriad problems faced by teenagers in today's society. A byproduct of the visits is that I also feel calmer and more confident in my child's positive progress.

This so call Dr only cares about money. All he wanted to do with my child was to test him without even asking for my permission to charge my credit card. HE would take advantage of the fact that he knew we were well off and that my mother would take my child over to the appointments, because I was working. Therefore, he took advantage and charged an arm and a leg for the so called tests. Also, he would go ahead and charge 50.00 if we would walk out of the office after waiting for him for and hour and a half to get to the office and we could not wait any longer because we had other appointments.
All I heard were complaints from other patients.
I reported him and I hope the ethics committee will do something about this. He is pathetic.
There are other good doctors who really cares about their patients.

Every time I asked the staff a question, they referred me to someone else

Very! The most welcoming office I've visited!
Does this provider always put the customer first?
Absolutely! They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen
