Joanna is a thoughtful, warm, and genuine. I have always felt safe, respected, and accepted, even when I came to the table with some very very unconventional issues. I appreciate every minute she has given me, especially the overtime ones when I was gushing and she never made me feel like it was time to cut me off. She's great. :)

Our family has been visiting Joanna for over a year for mental health issues. She has provided thoughtful, common sense, and practical counseling to us. She’s been a great asset in assisting us with well-rounded counseling for school and home life. She’s very patient, is genuine, and cares about the outcome of her patient’s growth. The play therapy has been a tremendous help to our family in understanding the issues our family is going through. It’s also helped our child effectively work through her issues. There was lots of available parking at their office. When I arrived for my appointment, Joanna has been ready to see us. No wait time.

Joanna is so easy to talk to and has helped me resolve a variety of issues. I have gone to other therapists and she is definitely the best. She is also great with kids and families. She even went out of her way to make calls to my insurance company when they made an error. I highly recommend Joanna.

I love Joanna. She is one of the easiest people to talk to and gave great advice. For me personally, it helped a lot just to have someone to talk to about things, and she really helped increase my self-esteem and confidence. She helped me to understand that I am in control of the choices I make and can change the course of my life myself. I had to stop seeing her because we moved to NYC, but I still keep in touch with her because she is so awesome!

My family has been very blessed to have Joanna as our counselor. She has helped us work on teen depression, self image/esteem, sibling issues, ADHD, sexual abuse and the death of our family member. Her office is extremely comfortable and makes you feel safe to express anything needed. Joanna always had great insight and ideas and always has us walk away with "homework" to help us continue toward our goals of wellness till next time we meet. I have been to many couselors personally over the years and Joanna is one of the very best!! She is very respectful of our families religious beliefs and our parenting beliefs as well and always took those into consideration when offering her counsel. She did amazing things with my kids (7yr-14yr olds) that other couselors were not able to even come close to doing. She gave them the tools they needed to deal with their feelings properly and to become confident, happy, strong kids/teens! I highly recommend Joanna!!!

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in

Joanna is a wonderful therapist and human being, I have been with her for almost a yer and though my life has changed a lot since seeing her, all those changes were made in my interest and to sustain my health. I can't imagine going to anyone else. She will check up on you to make sure you're okay and it's nice to know someone cares that much about you. I love going to Joanna. Before going to therapy make sure you understand that it is a two way street, no one can help you if you don't want to be helped. Joanna has been able to help me.

I have only met with Joanna a few times, and omg she is fantastic!!! Within the first week she had called University Hospital to my surgeon to help me with my health issues. Then, she call my primary Doctor and told him about my issues and thoughts. She called the next day with me in the office and got me into see my Doctor that same day. They are working together to make sure that my mental health is first and foremost. There is no judgements from Joanna. After talking about my suicidal thoughts, she asked to have my mother's phone number to make sure that I will be safe. She is doing this after I told her that I was going on vacation. Never in my life has ANYONE EVER taking the time to make esure that Mind, Body and Soul are being worked on with a therapist!!! Joanna is so kind and makes sure that she wants to work with you, not against you! She calls to check in, what Therapist do you know that does that???? NONE that I have ever worked with. So, if you need a therapist that wants to work with you and the total person, not just your depression, but Mind, Body and Soul. I feel so blessed that I found Joanna and will continue to work with her. She also has offered to work with my adopted daughter and husband. She is just so thoughtful in very way. I would give Joanna a lot more than 5 stars as a review. Do yourself a favor and give her a call, you will NOT BE SORRY!!!!

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

Every question I had was answered thoroughly

Yes, they have a great website and are present in many online directories

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
Does this provider maintain a professional appearance?
Yes, he/she looked very professional
