In choosing to become a physician, I had always thought about neurosurgery. However, life seems to take us down alternate pathways and I first pursued science and engineering research. It took some time for me to find my way back to medicine and I am glad to be here! When I meet with my patients, it is important to hear what a parent or caregiver has to say or what they see at home. They become a part of my team and are the closest to my patients. I let them know that we are in this together. We can make a plan together and take it in multiple steps to see what works best for them.
