About

Southwest Spine Services

Hello humankindness. It’s more than a tagline. Humankindness is one of the many things we all have in common. It’s the good within us. The power that connects us. And at CommonSpirit Health, we fuse it into heartfelt healing, inspired innovation, and mindful medicine. It’s in how we provide treatment and the way we treat patients. Our communities need caring, and our families need support. CommonSpirit Health is committed to building healthy communities by advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen. Because the way care is provided is often as meaningful as the care itself.

not great! Saw PA, she assessed me and ordered MRI. Went back a month later and met with a different PA who said I needed surgery for severe stenosis. Found out though my pt that they don't do surgery here and when I called them, they first insisted that they were already getting surgery approved and I told them I could not drive or find a ride to Durango from Montrose. When I met with surgeon, he pivoted without blinking and said I needed a shot. The shot guy and the surgeon are now together doing what they can to keep you as a patient but not help you or do what is the right thing to do. The second visit was very hurriedly as the plane was leaving and when George finally entered the room 1 hour late, I could see the staff turning off lights and grabbing coats. He was in a hurry and it affected how I was treated. I waited 2 months between appts to then be dismissed from a surgical candidate to an injection candidate. That Dr. didn't flinch! ..
