Mark Warshofsky

Dr. Mark Warshofsky is the Senior Vice President & System Chair of the Nuvance Health Heart and Vascular Institute and the Yoriko McClure Endowed Chair in Heart and Vascular. He received his medical degree with distinction from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. After completing internal medicine training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, he completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Warshofsky is the founding director of the cardiovascular disease fellowship at Danbury Hospital and maintains an active role in medical education. His clinical interests include coronary artery and valvular heart disease, and his research focuses on acute coronary syndromes and stress cardiomyopathy. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
