Raed Rahman, D.O., joined City of Hope® Cancer Center located in Lake County, Illinois, in July 2011 as an interventional pain medicine physician, where he helps patients manage pain, improve quality of life and reduce dependence on medications, when possible. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Dr Rahman earned an osteopathic medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He then completed an internal medicine internship in addition to an anesthesiology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He also completed an interventional pain medicine fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
