There are many conditions in the adult state that can be avoided if recognized and treated early in childhood, such as obesity, high blood pressure, anxiety and disorganization. Many habits stay with us our entire lifetime, and are much harder to break later, the older we get. Harmony Pediatrics will go the extra mile to discuss the good and bad long-term consequences of various habits. In order to achieve this goal, appointments last longer than most other pediatric practices, giving us ample time to address all issues and concerns about each patient's overall health. There are no double-bookings, so patients will be seen at their appointment time. In addition to extended office visits, same-day sick appointments are almost always available. We take most insurances, and offer a self-pay option for uninsured families.
Dr. Shefali Chheda has been practicing pediatrics in the Atlanta area for over 15 years. She takes a holistic approach in her patient visits, and incorporates alternative traditions in her style of practicing medicine. However, she strongly believes in using Western medicines when necessary, which includes keeping each child’s vaccinations up-to-date.
