I'm a Pilates trainer, orthopedic massage therapist and a former professional dancer, so I'm incredibly picky about my own 'team' of practitioners. I see Dr. Mears primarily for chiropractic work, and she is hands down the best healer I have ever encountered. Both incredibly steeped in technical knowledge re: the body and its workings and deeply attuned and intuitive in her approaches, she truly brings the best of all worlds to work on your body, to amazing effect. Each time I see her, I walk away with a body that moves more smoothly, with muscles freed from pain, and with a brain nibbling on some newly-gleaned esoteric health fact. (Yum!) I've also brought both my sportsy-athlete kids in to see her when they're somehow out of whack -- they love her! (have I mentioned that she's really funny as well?) -- and they emerge right back into whack immediately. In short: need a body fix? Go see Loretta.
