Dr. Mark Heltemes wasn’t always a doctor. Born and raised in central Minnesota on the Mississippi river, he developed an interest in people, entrepreneurship, and alternative health. A desire for life basics and travel , he entered the US Air Force. Five years of service lead him to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Graduating in 1990 he set out for California and opened his practice Pride Chiropractic in Rockridge of North Oakland, California. Serving his local population for over 20 years he has enjoyed the family of patients he has come to know. For over 10 years he has been establishing an organic working farm and retreat center in the North Central Valley. A balance of rural and urban life has made him a good role model for current and future generations.
