SPORT INJURIES: Dr. Byrd is certified to treat Sports Injuries and has many athletes under his care - ranging from recreational youth sports to college and professional elite athletes. He was selected to the NCAA Track and Field Championships medical team and the US Pro Track and Field National Championship medical team when they were held in Indiana. Honestly, Dr. Byrd's perspective is that everyone is an athlete. Whether their "sport" is football/soccer/volleyball or lawn mowing/floor mopping, car driving/child lifting/keyboard tapping, everyone wants to get back "in the game" quickly and perform to the best of their ability.
