Hi I am a state licensed mental health counselor, (LMHC) with a master's degree from Seattle University. I have with more than 22 years experience. My work experience was first at Sound Mental Health (formerly Eastside Mental Health) where I was a volunteer counselor for about 4 years and also worked in their Access office assisting people with obtaining appointments & doing intakes. I worked several years at a psychiatric hospital on the crisis outreach team, then Evergreen ER dept. and finally at Valley Medical Hosp. also on the crisis intervention team. I have a background prior to this as a Medical Assistant and then a Registered X-ray tech. so I have a diverse background in the medical field.


I am an Eclectic-Humanistic therapist. I use the techniques or a combination of methods that are individualized according to what is most helpful to you. My approach is gentle and supportive as you work through the issues you need help with. My goal is to help you learn skills that will lead to you working future issues and problems on your own.

Services I work with adults and couples or individual couples problems, meaning you may be coupled but only one partner is attending therapy. I work with a broad spectrum of individuals who are struggling, stuck, grieving or feel confused with difficult decisions. Some people need help with family of origin issues, ungrieved losses or feeling stuck and unhappy with a relationship or job.
