They went out of their way to make me feel special. The Office was clean but unorganized in the area of insurance. She answered a few of my questions to my satisfaction, but she made a few comments that were inappropriate when discussing medication and how most black people will not take a medication that is prescribed for their mental health, but "rather take illegal drugs" -- 'right' it is the truth." I disagreed and told her that her statement was sterotypical. She also made statements about my medical leave and explained to me that b/c I was in an auto accident months after filing a workers comp claim might explain the reason for denial of my workers comp payments and not b/c my manager advised the insurance to stop paying on the claim. That was in June of 2011 and I never went back to her after that b/c I realized that I never told her about my auto accident and wondered who was she communicating with to know about the disputes surrounding my auto accident other than my employer; therefore, I left feeling she could not be trusted and disappointed that someone arranged for me to meet with her while on medical leave. So, no this was totally unacceptable.
