Terrible experience. I took my 11yr old to see her. Not the best bedside manner, especially when a child is seeing her. We continued to see her a couple more times but have been unable to schedule anything with her in the last 3 months. She notified me today that someone had cancelled their appointment and so she offered it to us. It worked perfect for us and I accepted and thanked her. Then, she texted me back later and told me that the person that cancelled that timeslot previously wanted it back and she offered me a few different timeslots that were not going to work for us. She ended up giving our timeslot away to the person that had initially cancelled it in the first place. I felt that was incredibly unprofessional. When I told her that was not right to do that, her response was, "Yes. Everyone feels an urgency. Best wishes." I let her know we would be finding a new counselor for our child. I highly do not recommend this woman, especially for a child.

I was referred to her by a patient and was pretty disappointed with my experience to say the least. I called her to schedule as a new patient and she set me up for an appointment on a Friday which was like 3-4 days from when I originally called. I showed up 10 minutes prior to the appointment and no one was there. A gentleman walked out and asked I who was looking for and I explained I was a new patient of hers and he said she usually doesn't work fridays. I sent her a text and waited another 15 minutes. She said she texted the wrong patient and she was sorry but we'd need to reschedule. I was understanding as I get accidents happen and rescheduled. My next appointment was fine. Typical first session I'd say so I can't say much about the actual therapy as I didn't receive much. I then scheduled a second appointment. She even wrote it down on a business card for me. I show up again at the scheduled time 10 minutes early and the door is locked and the lights are off. I immediately laugh and think this isn't happening again right? Well I was early so I waited until the clock hit 7:30 and of course I was still the only person outside. I then proceeded to text her and ask if she was coming? She said she got a call from a gentleman her appointment was cancelled and he wasn't coming. I never called her and I'm also a woman. Super weird and of course no apology.I was honestly pretty pissed as I left work and came straight there and could've just gone home if I knew she was a no show. I am a very understanding and reasonable person but the fact she no showed twice and it was due to her own negligence was really disappointing. It took courage for me to seek therapy again and it upset me. I'm really glad I don't have abandonment issues lol. I found the whole situation unprofessional. Thankfully though I found a new therapist and I'm thrilled with her. Not sure how good of a therapist she is but she lacks professionalism for sure.
