I can honestly say that I did not have a fun experience with Dr. Epstein during the latter years of my junior high and high school years(Floyd Central, St. Mary's Phelps, and Eastwood come to mind). He misdiagnosed my case. The end result of that led to some other unpleasantness that led to me having a nervous breakdown and almost contemplating suicide from depression.

As to whether it is true or not, I even heard that he shared doctor-patient confidential information with other patients and made some negative remarks about my character. The last time I looked, that is grounds for a lawsuit.

All that aside, for someone who was a fellow Star Trek fan, his form of misdiagnosis certainly falls under the category of malpractice.
