My 7-year old male cat's rear legs suddenly collapsed under him and he was in pain. My regular vet has part-time office hours and the rest of the time is in the field, this time far away. The Coffee County Veterinary was out in an emergency and another local vet was at lunch- the woman who answered his phone told me he could not be bothered from lunch and to go to Murfreesboro ( I won't ever go to that vet) and I called Blue Springs vet and they were waiting for me in the parking lot! My cat had a bad heart -a clot paralyzed his legs. After consulting with this wonderful, caring vet, who did all she could to relieve his pain, the odds were poor, I decided to put him down. The entire staff were very caring and I left with my dear cat in a tiny coffin. They sent me a sympathy letter. These people really care.
