Straight shooter,
Does not fool around like most counselors setting up 10 appointments and asking "how do you feel about that". Yes, he has hourly appointments, but will go over if he needs to or if you desire two hours ahead of time.
Counseling is a tough business and not everyone's problems can be fixed versus treated. Appreciated being counselled with I'm making good rational decisions, it gives me confidence when dealing with troubled individuals. Sometimes, you are the problem, sometimes the problems need to be weeded out of your life so that you have good examples and others to help you. Friends are people who help you, you need friends you can't be a friend with no one being your friend. about the only reference points
