We believe that all people should have access to caring, confidential and competent, quality behavioral health care regardless of ability to pay. To support this belief, we do offer discounted services, on a case by case basis, to low income people, who are without insurance, or don't qualify for some other type of assistance.
Central Missouri Counseling is 100% privately funded, without state or county tax support, nor do we, due to our open and honest admission of being for profit, receive any funding from charities such as United Way, local governmental bodies, or even the community action agencies. You won't find our offices located in the big and fancy, sprawling office buildings that the largest CMHC's own, as we prefer to apply our limited resources to providing services to as many people as possible. Cash, Check, Insurance, EAP, and MO Healthnet for those whom qualify.
