In discussing the issue of bias against mothers in family court and the troubling recommendations of court professionals and evaluators favoring abusive parents, it is clear that Carson lacks the necessary knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse, coercive control, and the power dynamics inherent in abusive relationships. Carson relies on questionable sources associated with the Father's Rights movement and the AFCC, an organization that actively opposes crucial reforms like Kayden's Law, which would safeguard the well-being of children in family courts.

If Carson is appointed as your evaluator and you are a protective mother reporting abuse by the perpetrator, she will dismiss evidence of the abuse and wrongly accuse you of alienating your children from the abuser, despite research indicating that you are acting to protect your children from harm. Carson's reports exhibit a pronounced gender bias against mothers, painting the perpetrator in a favorable light while disregarding the ongoing abuse suffered by the children.

Furthermore, Carson's involvement in the family court system appears to be driven by financial gain. She charges exorbitant fees for even the most basic interactions, such as testifying or providing access to case files. Her fees far exceed those of reputable experts who possess a genuine understanding of coercive control and abuse. Selecting Carson as your forensic evaluator could easily cost you over $30,000.

For mothers seeking justice, I strongly advise against engaging Carson's services. If you have experienced anxiety and/or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the abuse you endured from the perpetrator and the systemic betrayal within the family court, do not expect Carson to identify the root cause of your mental health struggles. She dismisses the impact of abuse or attributes your trauma to self-causation, displaying a profound lack of empathy. Many professionals have commented on her unhealthy ego, which further undermines her ability to provide unbiased and compassionate support.

Despite claiming expertise in coercive control through "self-study," Carson demonstrates a lack of understanding when asked to define it, provide examples, or reference relevant scientific research conducted by respected institutions such as the US Justice Department or the CDC. She seems to rely on cut-and-paste techniques to feign expertise in her final reports. However, her lack of knowledge can easily be exposed during trial when she testifies. Nonetheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that the family court system itself is plagued by gender bias, as confirmed by studies such as the Saunders Study, Meier's Study (US Justice Department), and more recently, the United Nations and Human Rights Council investigative reports. These findings consistently highlight the bias faced by mothers reporting abuse and losing custody of their children to the abusive parent.

It is my hope that Washington state will follow the lead of Colorado and enact Kayden's Law. While this legislation may not address all the systemic betrayal and oppression faced by mothers, it will make it more difficult for self-proclaimed "professionals" like Carson to continue profiting from the current flawed system.
