Our father has been at Rexburg Care & Rehab several times. The last time he was so sick we did not feel like he would ever go home. The staff were so caring and concerned. Our mother was able to stay with him throughout the day and the staff made sure she was informed about his care. After 3 weeks he was able to return home. We are so greatful there is a place close by that family can go visit and get stronger after spending time in the hospital. We have been so pleased we have suggested this facility to our neighbors and friends.

My mother went through knee surgery on both of her knees. The first time she went straight home from the hospital and received home health for her therapy. When she had her second knee done, the surgeon talked to the family and suggested she go to Rexburg Care & Rehab for her therapy. After staying just about 2 weeks, because that is all her insurance would cover, she went home. My mother still suffers from discomfort in the knee from the first surgery where she receive just home health but the other knee from the second surgery has never given her any trouble. We were so please with the care she received that when she had her stroke and the doctor at EIRMC suggested she receive some rehab we did not hesitate to have her placed at Rexburg Care & Rehab again. The stroke affected her speech but the Therapist were so good. We feel that she is able to talk today because of them. The nursing staff were so wonderful, kind and caring. Our mother says the meals were better than the hospital food. We are grateful for the care she received. We would recommend this facility for rehab.
