Dr. Tran has lived in Southern California all her life. After her residency training, she moved to Orange County and has been in private practice for the past decade. Originally, she joined a large group practice of 8+ physicians but found that she cannot take care of her patients on a close personal level. Because of the infrequent rotation of calls inherent in a large group, she is unable to deliver her own patients on a consistent basis if they should go into labor when she is off call. Dr. Tran then went into solo practice, which she found much more rewarding in being able to take care of her own patients on a more personal and meticulous level. She was then joined by her brother, Dr. Bryan Tran and together their practice gas thrived ever since. If she should be in an emergency surgery, Dr. Bryan Tran would be available to deliver her patients, and vice versa. Both know each other patients very closely.Their unique close knit group allows them to implement the following philosophy:"Integrating state-of-art, up to date, advances in women's healthcare with the utmost compassionate approach for the total woman from all walks of life. Open communication between patients and physicians is the basic foundation of our practice. We want our patients to actively take part in the decision making process of their care." Dr Tran is also an avid animal lover. Her menagery of pets are her kids, which include 2 pomeranians, 2 bunnies, 1 love bird, and 10 koi fishes.

I'm a generally easy going person, so this wasn't a case of a bad temper or anything. Basically, I was just starting induction labor (maybe three hours), and Dr. Tiffany Tran entered my room and started to do procedures on me while I was still asleep. She took the balloon catheter out of me, which obviously startled me awake and she started to forcefully examine me to check my dilation. My sister had to step in and tell her to stop, and then she basically yelled about 3 feet from my face "Are you ready for a 48 hour labor?" while I had only barely started labor. She was incredibly rude and ended up stating later to my partner that she "didn't even have to be there" that "she could be on Mars" (whatever that means). I ended up switching to the doctor on call in the hospital mid-labor because of this incident. I honestly am not trying to be vindictive, she must have been having an awful day or something to behave that way, but I feel that others should be aware of this when considering using her services for their own birth experience. Also, I must state that her brother Dr. Bryan Tran was a wonderful OBGYN who handled most of the pregnancy, and she takes over for the last 4 week prior to birth (I'm not sure why).

They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities.

I just got back from my first visit there. Dr. Tran was very cordial. I noticed plenty of pregnant women there. I was just there for a well-woman's check up. I asked one of the waiting patients how they liked the doctor, and she had only positive remarks.

Never. I don't think they care about helping their clients save money

Yes, but their answers were confusing

No, they definitely favor certain clients

Not at all. They saw me but didn't greet me at all
