Our loved one passed away there almost two years ago after we were asked if hospice could be called in to help with our loved one. We met with hospice on the outside of Valley View. My first words to Hospice was that our loved one was not to have any medication that would be lethal. Within two days of hospice taking over. Our love one passed away. We were called after she passed away not while she was passing away so we could be there with her. Come to find out a little later on we received a statement in her mail from Medicaid where she had been given Fentanyl and Morphine. This was after I told hospice nothing stronger than aleive or Tylenol. She was fine while visiting her the day we met with hospice. This is so hard to live with each and every day and still trying to figure out the best way to get answers as to why. We didn't even get to hold her hand while she was being taken from us. One time my son and I was visiting her during covid-19. We was dressed out with face mask plus shield gown gloves and an employee brought her lunch without even a mask on her face but we were required to cover every inch our our bodies. Our loved one also had covid-19 while being at Valley View. She might have weighed 60 pounds when she passed. The funeral home suggested not opening her casket because she was so small. She could not see her food in her plate due to an eye disease that she had so I am thinking that no one took time to see that she ate. We could only visit at times due to covid so we could not make sure she was being fed. Thank you all for reading my story. We have to live with this day in and day out and need to know why why why.

when I went there were a large number of flies inside the building, several times it was like that, so I asked the director, Why. and he said because of the farm nearby, later I found out from someone who worked there it was actually because when they changed the patients clothes they threw them on the floor and left them there, also patients that needed assistance eating were not given that assistance, some were not given a bath, a lot of things were not being done in this facility. unrateable
