Risen Son is a beautiful facility. I've been in other facilities. They are like living in a hospital. Risen Son has a beautiful living area where you feel at home. My mother hated the facility because it wasn't home, however after she was sent to Bethany she wanted to go back to Risen Son.

do not take your loved ones here. The nursing care is now replaced by another agency not employed there due to poor administration that could care less. They are short staffed constantly and give no thanks to staff that show up with no help especially on the weekends. Social services nurses and DON sit and do nothing to come in and do their part at all. The serving tables for food are disgusting and dirty. Their is no supervision for the dietary staff and you hear them complaining for good reason and bad. Some get their way and don't have to work on a Sunday due to church??? Others have to babysit? I don't think so. They should be there like the others in every area. Residents are put in areas where they don't belong and it's all about money, not any Christian way at all. It's a bold face lie.
