I visited my brother who is in the Care Center. He is doing so much better since he has been there and he told me several times how well they are taking care of him. I was impressed because we thought he was very near death when he was admitted. He didn't look to me like he was near death's door when I saw him today. I am so grateful to the center. He needed some really good care.

With a broken leg and broken arm, I stayed at Highland Care Center for rehabilitation. I was so impressed with all the staff: from the admissions and directors to the aides, nurses, on-site doctor, and all the physical and occupational therapists. If you want real, professional, and caring rehabilitation, this is the place to go. They don't want to hurt you (they don't believe in the "no pain no gain" theory), but they take your path to wellness quite seriously, doing therapy twice or even 3 times a day. They will even visit your home with you before discharge to analyze what types of modifications or equipment might be needed. For rehab, this is the place.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

No, if they had music on it was very soothing

Not at all! They were always present and attentive
