We believe in a comprehensive approach to dermatology with attention not only to a patient's skin disorders but also to the physical and emotional well being of each patient. Education Dr. Jan graduated from college at the University of Pittsburgh where she was an honor student, vice president of the biological honor society Tribeta, and a member of both Quax (womenʼs science honorary) and Alpha Epsilon Delta. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in l968. She served as an internal medicine intern from 1968 to 1969 at the University of Texas Medical Center at Galveston. She was a resident in Dermatology at the University Hospital and Affiliated Hospitals of the Boston University Medical Center from l968 to l972 and began her private practice of dermatology in January of l973. She was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in September of l975.

Very rude doctor. Wait times for my visits ranged from 2 -3 hours!! Her staff is incompetent and this doctor overbooks patients. It's obvious she just wants a high volume of patients so she can increase her insurance payments. She was very out of touch and apathetic, prescribing a laundry list of prescriptions for a simple skin disorder. Some of the prescriptions she prescribes, she seems to know that the insurance will not cover. The last straw with me was an issue with a very prescription that the insurance would not cover. When I called her to discuss, she was very angry that I had the nerve to call her and she told me that she "didn't have time for me".
