An excellent dentist and an excellent practice. Everyone there is competent, kind, and does their best to make dental visits as pleasant as possible. I have been going here for many years now, and a few times (with insurance problems) had questions about my bills. They explained everything to me so that I could understand, and my bill was invariably correct. Dr. Heros has changed my dental appointments from pain and terror filled nightmares (as a child, I didn't get any choice about my dentist) to mostly pleasant and comfortable experiences, with only an occasional hint of discomfort (he will stop immediately if you have pain). My blood pressure doesn't even go up anymore for a root canal. On a couple of occasions, when I've been to another dentist or oral surgeon, they've remarked what excellent work my dentist has done. Appointments are on time, the highest standards are used, and the office is always clean and bright. They even have an aquarium in the waiting room to sooth patients. It still amazes me to see children coming out smiling and waving bye-bye. As a "frequent flyer", I've spent many hours and dollars with this dentist, and if anything, they have discounted my bills a few times when they knew finances were tough for me. And yes, my dental problems are caused by genetics and my choices, not the dentist. Like some other reviewers, I still see Dr. Heros, even though I've moved and it's over 30 miles past numerous other dentists to get there. It's well worth the drive.
