I am taking the time out of my busy day to type this review, b/c I feel it is extremely important that future customers are warned about the office manager, Marie, who works for Dr Spero @ Atlantic Dental.
The behavior that she displayed, the condesending attitutude, and lacking of professionalism and class, still flabbergast and floors me. The fact that she could run a office on such classless and ignorant behavior is beyond me. Dr Spero just lost three customers today. All b/c of his office manager acting like she is somehow better and that she has some type of right or authority to speak to anyone the way she deems fit. Three times I had to ask her to identify herself, I wanted to know who I was speaking to. A reasonable request. She talked over me chronically w/out giving me a chance to ask one question abt our account. She threaten myself and my child w/ legal action. When all I wanted was an itemized bill. She hung up on me three times, when I called back to request copies of records for myself and other child. When I ask her what it does for her to repeatedly talk over me w/out given me the chance to ask one question, she told me,"I'm the office manager." I have never come across someone so classless and lacking in professionalism in my life and I hope I never do again. There's a lot more to the story, but be warned if you go there for dental work, plan on being treated like second class citizens, if God forbide you owe a little money on a bill. She is also quite a tackless liar. I hope you'll take yourself and your family dental needs to a more professional establishment, don't make the mistake that I made. Dr Spero should be ashamed of himself having a employee like that in the mist of his practice.

All the canned questions in this survey do not get at a key question: are you satisfied with the care this doctor has given you, in terms of the results. My answer would be not really - due to a choice made by the doctor without alerting me to my options.
