The dentist did not communicate with me at Monticello Family Dental. He walked in the room and briefly viewed the x-ray and my tooth. Next, he turned to his assistant with instructions and walked out. The assistant gives me a referral and tells me that I need a root canal. I expressed my concern that the doctor should have communicated with me. l left his practice that day for a second opinion. My second opinion turned out to be a blessing. Dr. C. Fruge' viewed the x-ray, asked me a number of questions, tapped my tooth, which the Monticello Family Dental dentist did not do... He concluded that I needed a filling for a cavity and explained everything.
I'm glad I got the second opinion before going forward with a root canal.
I gave Monticello Family Dental a 2 star because the billing lady was very sweet. She apologized about the deposit payment that was not explained to me and the lack of communication.
