I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works.

From birth to age 1 1/2, I was constantly taking my son to Dr.Weiss and kept asking why he never produced any ear wax. He didn't seem to think it was unusual for the ear not to have any wax, but I believed something was wrong. After countless appointments, Dr. Weiss kept saying my son's ears were fine and clear. I even took him to the other doctor's in the practice and they concured with Dr. Weiss. Well, my motherly instincts kicked in and I decided to take him to a specialist.

The specialist determined that my son had significant fluid in his ears and that he couldn't hear. In order to correct the problem my son had to have tubes inserted.

While I'm glad the issue was resolved by the specialist, I often wonder why Dr. Weiss and his collegues never saw the problem? How can trained professionals not see the fluid behind both of the ears but then another doctor spoke of signficiant fluid?

I do not recommend Dr. Weiss or anyone at the facility. Maybe it's time for him to retire.
