Dr. Izard states allegations against Dr. Izard were incorrect. Wrong dates appeared on one in three thousand cases: Mistakes were not deliberate. Hospital patients were treated appropriately. Some lacked the magnitude of documentation the authorities wanted. A mistake, not deliberate.

Dr. Izard finally settled the case without any admission of guilt. Dr. Izard states he did nothing wrong. He grew tired of two years of investigation, and settled to protect his patients, colleagues, institutions, and family. He also wanted to stop nighttime visits to his children’s homes and employees homes by investigators.

Dr. Izard grew tired of torment and retired as planned.
