Dr. Polowy is a good physician. Our issue was with his staff. Very unprofessional and rude. We sat in his lobby for hours. He's not that good! We just got up and left. Went to see a different oncologist. We thought appointments were for certain times, not entire days?
This was the second time my wife and I visited Dr. Polowy. The appointment was scheduled for 10:30AM on Thursday, September 24th. We showed up at 10:20AM. We went to the front desk, signed in, the receptionist asked for the insurance card and $35 deducible. After she ran the credit card, she said, “Oh, just to let you know, Dr. Polowy is running about two hours late.” She said, “If you can’t wait, we can reschedule for tomorrow.” Two hours late? I asked why didn’t you call me? Why do I have to make an appointment then? I called another oncologist. We saw him the next day. No excuses, no two hour wait, no problems. I read about this issue at his office on several other reviews on the internet. I thought they were just disgruntled patients. They were correct.
