I have known Brenda Duzan for over 20 years and have always had nothing but positive interactions with her. She is a very skilled and effective acupuncturist and I’ve had many positive results from her treatments.

At first this person seems to be smart, capable and honest. Not so. She is associated with the Acupuncture and Body Alignment Center in Puyallup and Gig Harbor and immediately started pushing her other services on me. She is working with an LMT who does very little in his appointments to help other than to talk! He pushes on a few pressure points and tells you it will take many visits to get better. Both tried on several occasions to talk me out of scheduled carpal tunnel release surgery which I despartely needed because of nerve damage. They both insisted with many visits he could prevent the surgery. After 6 visits I had no relief whatsoever. The LMT treatment was actually damaging to my hand.

I'd start with an acupuncture appointment and then was told it'd be better to see the LMT that day.

Brenda called my insurance company and had figured out how many visits I had to spend my $5,000 in benefits. That's why I should see the LMT first since I had more benefits there --- not because it was better for my condition.

In the end, I found them both to be dishonest with my account and with me in my treatment. I would definiately NOT recommend this acupuncturist or her partner.
