Dr Guy McDougal, Optometrist, has practiced in east Mesa since 1991. After 20 years of leasing space inside of the Superstition Springs Mall in Mesa, March of 2011, he moved his practice outside of LensCrafters to a larger location on the Northeast corner of Gilbert and Southern in Mesa, Arizona.

With this move, we offer a bright clean office with earlier office hours, close, convenient parking, a new optical boutique with a large selection of the newest frames available.

We accept most insurance such as: AEI, AETNA, AMERIBEN, AZ PIPE TRADES, BCBS, CIGNA, GILSBAR, EYEMED, HUMANA GOLD, MEDICARE, MMSI, MTN STATES, SOUTHWEST SERVICE ADMIN, TRICARE, VSP. Please call our office for question about your vision and/or medical insurance.

I have worn contacts for years and have seen many eye doctors, this place is the WORST I've ever been to. I'd give them a zero of I could. Beware of this eye doctor. I went in for routine eye exam. And ended up paying big time, even though I have insurance. They did multiple procedures that I thought were routine and never bothered to say there was an additional charge. They also wanted to over charge for contacts, I refused to purchase them. I have been to this location before and they provided good service. I'm not sure if the staff has changed but I will NEVER go back. If you do go here make sure you ask for prices before you let them do ANYTHING.

I have had my share of hurry-up-and-git-out-of my-chair eye exams. Dr McDougal was not one of those eye doctors. I felt like he took the time to answer all my questions and he gave me a very thorough exam and explained everything to me. I highly recommend this doctor, he was great1
