It's a fact that food plays one of the most important roles in our daily lives. Without it, we do not survive for many days as it provides us with the necessary nutrients for our body to work in optimal conditions and can withstand all the work we do during the day
However, our culture and society has become accustomed to taking a relationship with the food of love and hate. How is this?
On the one hand we love to eat. Who does not like having a great meal? Whether a burger, sandwich, salmon, steak or salad, eating is one of the activities we like to do. Do you know someone who hates to eat? Neither does me.
But on the other hand, we do not like another aspect of food: engorge us and causes us overweight. After we finished eating, especially if they are junk food, we started to have feelings of guilt and regret. Most of us passed. How do you feel when you finish eating at McDonalds?
So, on the one hand, the food is something we enjoyed delicious, but otherwise we have problems because when we consume too much causes overweight and obesity in severe cases.
What to do about it?
The first step is to realize that we should not carry a love-hate relationship with food, as this only affects our weight loss efforts. The best thing you can do is find a balance between eating well, healthy and occasionally give us some customized fat luxuries or pleasures with "forbidden" foods.
Control your emotions
Many times when we overeat junk food is because we do feel emotional impulse frequently. We see food as a way to get away from negative emotions that we get to
customized fat at different stages of our lives.
If you eat a lot of feeling emotionally, is the perfect time to start developing your emotional intelligence. Make a self-reflection and try to find the source of these emotional problems you have, looking for another type of activity that is not binging.
An excellent tip that I can share with you is to think and reflect on why you eat anytime. If you have food in front of you, always ask yourself why do I eat? It may be because you're starving, because it's your first meal of the day, or because your diet so provides.
This is fine, but when you think and answer something like "because I have a craving", "because I deserve it" or any similar response, think very well if you really need to eat that food, in many cases you will find that you can skip that meal and save enough calories consumption.
Remember, food is a source of nutrients that can also give us a great pleasure to consume, but that we should not overdo signfica and start eating excessively. Identify if you have any problems with binge eating, if so, do not hesitate to ask for help and find cuasa the problem, I'm sure your life will improve greatly if you do
