Mets ta confiance en l'Eternel de tout ton cur,
et ne te repose pas sur ta propre intelligence.
I have the privilege of being married to the most selfless and irrepressibly romantic man in the world. He works tirelessly for others. Things he would never tell you about himself: He is called and ordained to be an Elder in our local church, insists on a standard of excellence in all he does - Worship Leader, designer (holidays & special events), preacher, group leader, brother and friend of God. Not in a wealthy private school, Barry teaches Spanish and French at a government school, serving more than 50% Native American Mohawk students.
In July 2009 we became grandparents! (Personally, I like "Yaya" or Mamabear for myself - but we'll see...). Barry and I love our Grandson, Preston, so much!!! As of September 2010, Preston has a little sister, Cameron Grace. She is an absolute joy! Veronica, our new daughter is a beautiful, intelligent, fun-loving and confident addition to our family. We are so proud of our Kanon and the way doors have opened for him (answered prayers). He completed a B.S. in Business and Accounting, minoring in Finance and German. He now holds an Excellent job with a private firm, as a Cost Analyst, the first employee there to have been promoted before their first full year of work. You GO, son! We never lost hope that you would be a success. THAT is the favor of a loving God! He is presently considering graduate school options for 2011.
Our Sam just finished his B.S. in Computer Software Engineering. We trust in the God of all provision, purpose and hope, for Sam's abundantly blessed future.
Our Alejandro (whom we fondly reference as "Big Al") -is a rescued chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix - is energetic and well loved, is very outgoing like his "pack". Favorite activity: chasing snowballs, apples, etc. on hikes up and down Titus Mountain, boat rides with his "girl"friend Togo at Lake Titus camp, eating restaurant tidbits, watching his humans eating dinner together (does not beg), Moon Valley firepit parties while stargazing and having satellite-tracking contests between "Mom" and "Dad" throughout the year, and fetching glowing rubber balls.
I covet your prayers, as I seek to be a blessing to many in this life. I am not perfect, my walk with Jesus has been difficult at times. But, how else do we know what is good, if we don't recognize what isn't?
Be blessed.
