The only negative I have to say here is that the receptionist/secretary barely ever answers any of my questions over the phone, and she can be rude. However, I would definitely refer anyone to see Dr. Losacco. I absolutely love him as a doctor. He is the most attentive psychiatrist I've ever met and is very compassionate. He always listens carefully to whatever I have to say. And, the costs were given to me up front. If I know, I can plan for it.

I've been under treatment by Dr. Losacco since age 20 (I'm now 59). For around 12 of those years, I was moving to different cities in the US pursuing a career in the energy industries. Each time I had to move, I had to find a new Psychiatrist to supply meds, so I have an extensive basis for comparison with Dr. Losacco. None of the other Psychiatrists measured up to his standards - not by a long shot. None have his level of experience or expertise, especially in Pharmacology. Each new Psychiatrist wised to immediately change my treatment from the successful treatment Dr. Losacco and I had hammered out over many years, usually back to a treatment that I had painfully proved did not work. And NONE of these Psychiatrists were willing to listen to or consider my long past history and personal experience. It was obvious that to them, Patients were to stupid and ignorant to know anything. Not so with Dr. Losacco.
Thanks the lord, I'm now back in the same city with Dr. Losacco, and have again been under his care for the last 12 years. Treatment with Dr. Losacco has always been a cooperative operation with mutual respect on both sides. To me, Dr Losacco is the top of the Psychiatry field- period. It just doesn't get any better with Doctors. In my lifetime, I've only had the fortune to be under treatment by 2 other physicians that are as good as he is; and both of those are in the Allergy-Immunology field both in the same clinic also here in Tulsa. My only worry is what I'm going to do when Dr. Losacco eventually retires.
Dr. Losacco is one of the very few physicians still operating under the old style of being in private independent practice in his own office. In contrast, my primary care physician is in a huge group of hospital owned Doctors with many corporate policies that are detrimental to the patient's welfare and quality of treatment.
In a nutshell, Dr. Losacco has my top ratings in every category, and you're very fortunate to be in his care if you need a Psychiatrist. He's as good as it gets.

Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. I've heard of a few psychiatrists that took personal phone calls during appointments, and I always thought that was so rude. Thankfully, they've never done that here. Their full attention is always completely on me. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated.

Dr. Losacco is excellent in planning and explaining treatment options. He is always able to put issues in context and never talks down to you. I have adult ADHD and his treatment has been thoughtful, appropriate and enabled me to overcome most of my symptoms.
