I have never been to a psychiatrist before and was very uncomfortable about it. Dr. Jordan put me at ease right away. He is very easy to talk to and gives his opinions freely. (I was afraid he would just nod his head the whole time.) He is quick and bright and understood my situation immediately. I wish he took insurance, but I'd rather pay him out of pocket than waste time with someone else. He is really good.

I was a little nervous about meeting Dr. Jordan because he is so well known and revered in his profession. He could not have been more warm and down to earth. I was immediately comfortable and poured my heart out. He gave me great insight into my situation and was very relaxed and interested. He did not push medication but said he would be willing to try a low "starter dose" of an antidepressant if I felt necessary. I did start a prescription and he instructed me to call him every three days (at no charge!) to give him an update on how I was feeling. For such a busy doctor, he is very accessible.His secretary is warm & courteous too. I feel 100% better and will continue to see him every 4 months for the rest of my life!

This was one of the few psychiatric offices where a human answered the phone rather than an answering machine. It was easy to make an appointment and the scheduler was friendly and accomodating. The doctor (shockingly) runs right on time and took me in at the exact time of my appointment. He listened to me attentively and gave great feedback. He did not seem bored or rushed. Unlike other psychiatrists, he did not insist I come back soon but rather when I wanted to come back again. Only downside is he does not take insurance; but I think he is worth it. I believe I'll get well sooner and ultimately spend less money with him.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
The lady above who wrote that review must be looking for illegal drugs and/ or on them herself and wanting more. I would bet my life her description of her session did not occur at all as she said. Dr. Jordan is perhaps the most widely known and reputable psychiatrist in Florida. He is a graduate of great reknown with accolades too many to mention. Anyone who sees him would be blessed to have this gentleman as their doctor. He was able to cure me of many phobias, including agoraphobia, severe panic and anxiety attacks and made me a well and functioning individual. He even helped me with my Masters in Psychology, which he did not have to do and gave me the best care and concern I could ever have hoped. He is nothing short of a genius
