Dr. Kammiel gets you on the proper meds, observes your behavior under the guise of chit chat, and monitors for long term stable care. She is not a therapist, if you need the additional support -you re going to have to seek out a psychologist. I just get my meds refilled , drama free, stress free. I''d give 5 stars but I think my dose is tooooo low, but i'm not the one behind the desk with the rx pad. Also, it's NJ being a nanny state over meds to the point of actual harm, and removing all trust from prescribing drs.

Absolute worst Doctor I have ever encountered. Do yourself good by seeking another provider. Doesn’t even deserve any stars.

Both my mother (in her 80's) and I are patients for many years with severe anxiety and depression problems. Dr. Kammiel is knowledgeable and caring, and her support staff has always professional and sympathetic. I have been to many psychiatrists in several states, including top teaching hospitals, and I trust and recommend Dr. Kammiel. I travel over an hour to see her.

The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. But as for the doctor, she made me feel like I was bothering her and wasting her time. I had my charts from both my neuropsychologist and neurologist and their recommendation of an anti-psychotic medication, but I felt as if she didn't believe them and I had to 'prove' myself. It was as if she thought I was a drug addict and only there to try to 'score drugs' or something. I was very uneasy. I will find someone else to see. She didn't even want to hear the entire answer when she asked me questions. I had to tell her I wasn't finished speaking every time she cut me off.

I felt very judged during my appointments. I couldn't believe how accusatory and condescending they were, and I couldn't wait for it to be over. Whenever I tried to interject my input or concerns, they immediately interrupted me or cut me off. They pretty much just talked at me the entire time. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Can't help you with simple things remember your name or look at your chart to pretend she knows you. Had simple paper work to be filled out for surgery she flipped out because that would make my appointment too long even though she had ample warning about this paper work. She said it would take 6 weeks to prepare an evaluation. All of my pre reqs for surgery are done except for her. She couldn't even promise me a positive evaluation! She's an idiot with no respect or concern for others! Don't see her you will regret it! It's all about how many people can I fit in with the least amount of time to get more money.
