My daughter has seen the nurse practioner for several years and I have nothing but praise for her. She saved my daughter's life. my daughter is 17 and feels very comfortable with her. She is able to talk to her about things going on in her life. Yes, she writes Rx which is a huge part of her job. she came up with the right combination of meds for my daughter and increased or changed the dosages as she grew. I will go to her as long as she is in practice.

I saw the NP who basically just writes prescriptions but doesn't want to talk about the root of the problem. Then there is the issue with the office staff. Although I made my copays at each visit, they have sent me to collections for not paying them, though I have cancelled checks to prove it. Do yourself a favor, don't add to your problems by going here.

I would give 0 stars but it wont let me. This office is BAD. It isn't Dr. Bell's fault, but the Nurse Practitioner who is under his wing. She tried to say she gave me a prescription for 45 tablets of Lorazepam October 10th and I ran out October 27th. There is no way, because I took them as told, once at bedtime. Then she had the nerve to deny me any because she thought I was lying and I was taking too many. It made me feel like SHIT and embarrassed. I immediately called my pharmacy and had them find the record and I WAS right, the last prescription filled for Lorazepam was September 11th. My mother went in to tell them this and was told there was absolutely nothing they can do to help her, which they COULD. She told them she wouldn't leave until she got my prescription, and telling them about the negative experience I had with Theresa at Athena Counseling in Nashville. Sure enough, Theresa ran out before my mom could speak and basically told her I was lying and that she thinks Im abusing them, ME? I am scared to take more than one benadryl when I have a bad cold! Their practices are BAD, not caring about the patients NEEDS, and they for sure don't need to mess with those who have mental disorders such as my severe anxiety and panic attacks. Speaking of that, I told them I had withdrawal symptoms the night I didn't have it, and basically the lady who answered the phone told me "too bad, you'll just have to wait". I find this completely unacceptable and will NOT be going back. My advice to anyone with anxiety and panic attacks and has an appointment with Theresa Wilson, RUN.

While friendly, I would steer clear of this office. The communication is bad and the Dr. recommended medication without ever really talking to our child.

Additionally, they lack a certain compassion needed when dealing with the mental health field. At the end of the day it's not about getting you help, it's about them getting their money.

In our experience, they scheduled a follow up that was somehow lost in the mix. Their automated calling service leaves you a half message reminder so you are unable to tell who the call is from.

Additionally, they were only interested in waiving the no-show fee that all dr's employ (and for good reason) if we would come back and see them. Mix ups happen. Whether it's your mistake or theirs, you will be the one paying for it.

Seek a place with more of a patient focus.
