I love my cardiologist but not his NP, Ms Goldberg. I think she is qualified and tries to do a good job BUT I found her to be very rigid and uninformed about my complex medical history. She never met me in person so perhaps our email exchange dampened her bedside manner, but she badgered me to take a new medicine. When I explained my ambivalence & how my PCP supported my decision, she was adamant. I prefer a practitioner who works in partnership with the patient.
