If you want to be hung up on, treated poorly, threatened, receive minimal attention or communication, but receive an expensive bill without explanation- this is the place for you!
I arrived on time for my appointment & found out they had scheduled me during their lunch. I had to wait in the car for 20-30 mins until they reopened. Turns out, you pick a set appointment time that they claim is available, then without telling you, they push it out 15-20 minutes after to ensure you arrive on time. Why book an appointment when the office is ultimately closed & why not be transparent with patients - I have a strict work schedule so if I make an appointment at a specific time, they should be transparent that they aren't going to honor the selected time frames so I can adjust my schedule accordingly? ZERO consideration for their patients.
I saw the doctor 8 MONTH'S ago & made several phone calls for follow-up just to see what the test results said & to request refills. Never had my phone calls returned & to this day don't have any idea how my test results came out. My pharmacy contacted their office in hopes of getting the refills without success. Today was the first contact they made & they hung up on me mid-sentence before the conversation was even close to being finished. I've been forced to utilized Dr. On Demand as a result of lack of communication or effort from this office.
After already running out of crucial medications, I was finally able to book an appointment but unfortunately, my health had worsened by the time the appointment was scheduled (their availability is limited, you have to wait weeks if not months to get in to see a doctor after weeks/months just to get ahold of someone to even schedule an appointment in the first place).
I called the office when having a medical crisis & was instructed by their call service to NOT go to the ER & to wait for the on-call doctor to reach out. HOURS spent waiting without any phone call, I went to the ER & was admitted for over a week. While in the hospital, I reached back out to the on call service & they assured me they would cancel the appointment with Spencer and that someone would call me back to reschedule it. It was the first time I had ever canceled or rescheduled an appointment & only canceled because I was hospitalized. At that point, it would have given the office 48 hours of notification. I find it very alarming that not even their on-call emergency doctors give you the time of day & purely just don't care about you or your health needs & It's concerning to be told to not go to the hospital during a crisis that absolutely required hospitalization. No one in the office had called to reschedule, I called the office to reschedule without success but then I get a threatening letter in the mail stating they will be discharging me as a patient for "continuing" to miss appointments?!
I called & left a voicemail because I was absolutely shocked that they treat their patients in such a poor manner & wanted to find a resolution but the rude lady who returned my phone call, did not offer any assistance or further information, did not apologize or acknowledge the unprofessional services they provided, but instead confirmed they are removing me as a patient and then hung up on me before I can say anything. Talk about horrible customer service skills! They don't care for or value their patients & this place needs to undergo some serious training on basic communication skills. I was calling to express these valid and warranted concerns, but only received further confirmation of how little this office cares for their patients & how little pride they have in their job. This is supposed to be a place with welcoming health care providers but that is the exact opposite of what they provide. This office is such a disappointment & the staff in the office clearly need to go into different career fields if answering the phones & being decent are too much to handle!
