I suffered with Trigger Thumb on my dominant hand for a year. I am an art teacher and teach pottery etc. I teach 500 elementary students how to create pinch pots by using my thumb. It's my bread and butter. Dr. Bernstein, explained the procedures with clarity and compassion. The first shot worked a bit, the second shot worked great! I was so nervous! He was so calm, and understanding and addressed not only my physical needs but also emotional needs as well. After awhile of intense use of my thumb back at school; it started to lock up again and became very painful. Now it was time for wide awake surgery! Wow! It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Dr. Bernstein, and his amazing staff were absolutely wonderful. It is 8 weeks out and after following all his verbal and written instructions, and committing to the physical therapy; I'm fixed! I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein. He has a great sense of humor too; which is exactly what an anxious person like me needed.

Dr. Bernstein performed trigger finger surgery on my right thumb a couple weeks ago. My thumb is back to normal already, no pain, no scar and I am pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Dr. Bernstein and his staff to anyone who requires hand surgery. The office hours are convenient, the staff is professional and courteous and they have several locations.
