My husband has received excellent care here. I did not know if he would ever recover from his poor respiratory status and come home but he is off the vent and transferring to a lower level care facility to continue physical therapy. We chose kindred stcc because of our excellent experience at Kindred DeLima. Thank you to the nurses, therapy and physicians for helping my husband recover.q

My mom has been a patient at Kindred Hospital DeLima for several weeks. When asked what she rates this hospital out of five starts, she said eleven because of the outstanding care. I would like to give special thanks to Doug and Adrian in therapy, Ryan in respiratory, Mauricio and nurse Josephine for being a ray of sunshine. Dr. Aliwar, Dr. Roaroke and the infectious disease physician were also amazing. Thank you for the excellent care provided to my mom.

The employees on the ICU unit work as a team and are positive all the time. From nursing to nursing to respiratory to therapy to dietary and doctors communicate very well with each other and me. Procedures are done timely and with efficiency. The cafeteria is great. The unit is immaculate, housekeeping always on top of things. The employees always stock supplies. Kindred DeLima offers patient focused care every shift. The staff provided me with a guest tray one day, which was wonderful. The night nurses call me when my husband is restless so I can come back to visit and calm him avoiding restraints. Wound care is excellent. The staff looks at my husband to assess and uses data to ensure he receives everything he needs all the time. The staff talks to my husband while they are caring for him, which is wonderful. Oral care is excellent. I am so impressed that this hospital tries not to use registry and uses float staff from sister hospitals.

I'd like to recognize Anthony, Fatima, Glenda, Irma, Annabelle, Doug, PT, Meredith, Aline, Nona for going above and beyond every day. I'd also like to thank Ann for her service and for sitting with my husband when I needed to take a break.

I love the whiteboard in the room which lists the employees names, date, my information, etc . I use that board to give the staff information about my husband's pets and other information.

I am so grateful to everyone here for the excellent care my husband is receiving. Again the team collaboration is extremely impressive. The weekly meeting with all the disciplines to discuss the patient's progression is also a wonderful tool and I'm so grateful.

The staff and Dr Gelfand were awesome. Staff very friendly and helpful Dr has an awesome bedside manner very efficient and clear in he explainations

I want to thank everyone on the staff and all employees who helped my husband through this difficult time. Their compassion, patience and hard work made his stay easier on him and definitely easier on me and my children. There were times at a previous facility that I was afraid I was going to lose him. Although he had some rough days here, I was always confident that he was receiving the best care. I hope that in the future if any of you need care like this, that you will be treated at this facility. Thank you very much!!
