To the medical staff of Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Wayne The relatives of Tim Vergel de Dios Jr. are grateful and appreciative of the effort you have done to help Tim continue his healing process after recovery from Covid 19. Mentally and physically it is a challenge for him, but you made it possible through your inspiration and encouragement to keep going and staying strong. We recognize your long hours of shifts, especially during the Christmas and New Year holiday. You chose to stay with him missing the important occasions with you loved ones. I just want to thank everyone for keeping me me comfortable and encouraging me through the hard times. There were times I was very nervous but everyone helped to make me feel better. Thanks so much, it really helped me through it.

i can not express enough how happy we were with the care my mom received while here. she was very sick upon entering and not only did kindred get to the root of what was ailing her but she came out better than before. all the staff from administration to nursing were all pleasant. they went above and beyond for anything we needed or questions we had.

Medical Care Good. Follow up and communication terrible. Patient Advocate Kristi Tomkins is wonderful. If you want something done she is the one. Nurses are good but appear to be overworked .because they say they will be back but then forget to come back. The ring button must not be in good place at the nurses station, because they always say it did not light up, so you lay there waiting and waiting. Not respectful of personal property, have to be reminded to put items back in the place convenient for patient. When room is cleaned and bedding changed soiled bedding stays sitting on a chair. When moved to a different facility they neglected to take a key part of personal item out of wall outlet and send it with patient.

I wanted to thank all the nurses and the rest of the staff for always taking good care of me. I came in bad shape and expect to be leaving in much better condition. The food here is excellent, and so is the service. This was a good experience all things considered.

The nurses and CNA’s go above and beyond board. Tina did everything for me with a smile, always! She is an amazing person. John is excellent and proficient in his job performance. Everyone was just friendly and gave me tough love to get me going and keep me on track. I am lucky that I was sent here rather than somewhere without people who really care about you. They listened to all my wants and needs and got me back to where I came from.

What's not to recommend? My wife developed pneumonia due to Parkinson's and needed to be intubated at another hospital in New York. Kindred was highly recommended and Sara, a clinical liaison, from the hospital stopped and met with us at the NY hospital. In our meeting she made the choice pretty easy to be this hospital. We are more then pleased at all of the staff and training we have received from them. The quick progress and improvement of my wife's condition can only be said to be caused by 2 major factors. The first being my wife's will and ambition to improve herself to get off of the respirator. The second, and no less important, was the combined effort of all the department's involved in her care and training for the family and caregivers to safely and successfully get her home. If you are unfortunate and find yourself or your loved ones in need of high quality respiratory care and rehabilitation Kindred is the place to go. That being said 5 out of 5 stars is my rating

Hello my name is Alondra and my sister has been admitted here in Wayne since October and she's been in excellent care. We are beyond happy to witness that the nurses here are really on top of her and everyone is super nice and they keep us up to date with everything. Would 100% recommend this hospital to anyone!!

Kindred is excellent. The staff is very professional, kind and accommodating. It is very conducive to a rehab setting, quiet and good for healing. I am very pleased and amazed by the progress Kara has made thanks to the staff here. I was nervous sending her all the way to Jersey but was happy to hear that they offer transportation from the city to the facility which is why I was okay sending her so far away. I am happy we made this choice because she has had a complete turnaround
