I had a great experience at this facility. Mitch (nurse) is one of the most professional, attentive nurses I had the pleasure of dealing with. Theresa (CNA ) is absolutely wonderful. When she was my CNA was very attuned to my needs. She made sure that I had the appropriate gowns. She also washed my hair. She went out of her way to take care of my needs. She always had a smile in face. Cerite always greeted me with a smile and if I was sleeping she would wait until I was awake to take care of me. She' had a positive vibe. For all others that I can't remember their names, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DID FOR ME....

My father was admitted to Kindred on 5/19/16 and is being discharged today to JFK Acute Rehab. From the moment we walked in Kindred we received nothing but positivity from the entire staff. Coming from CCU which is not very uplifting I have to say the they completely changed our spirits here. They weened him off the ventilator quickly and safely. Anytime there could be something wrong they tied up all loose ends to make sure his health was always at its best. Not hearing promising words from the prior hospital, bringing him here was the BEST choice we could have made. He is doing wonderful, and we cannot wait for him to be home. We truly feel that they gave my dad a second chance, and for that we are forever grateful. For all readers, I am writing this with tears in my eyes because the progress they were able to make with him is unbelievable. I would recommend anyone I know to come here for a loved one.

Every person on staff did a wonderful job put there are a few that truly need to be mentioned with our utmost gratitude.

Nursing staff:
Debbie(day shift) is truly a blessing. Knowing my dad was in her care made it that much easier knowing that she always goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. You can tell nursing isn't just a job for her but something she loves and looks forward to helping her patients heal
Janette & Christina (night shift) were great at calming him down and reassuring him everything would be okay
Vera- is a very pleasant nurse and was always there to help and listen.

CNA's:
Denise Olu Danielle & Lynne
Were so patient and kind to my father and constantly were looking for things to make his care the BEST.

Respiratory staff:
Erika Prab Marie Marty
You truly saved my dad with your skills on the ventilator being able to ween him off safely. We are so grateful with your knowledge of knowing everything there is to know and explaining everything to us in full detail to understand his recovery.

Maria the patient advocates role was absolutely incredible helping us with any questions and concerns we had. She is truly wonderful and does a great job keeping the families completely informed at all times.

There are many many more to name. Just know we love you all and can't thank you enough!! XOXOXO

I received excellent care atKindred Hospital. Everyone treated me with respect and kindness. From housekeeping to nursing, they were all there for me during this transition. Farah(nurse), Deniese and Carolina were all encouraging and taking good care of me. Also, the physical therapy team were very patient with me and helped me a lot. Maria(Patient Rep) was also supporting me during these difficult times.I would recommend this place to anybody who needs LTAC services.

The nursing staff go above and beyond to care for the patient. The respiratory therapies.are very good, helpful and attentive. Kindred exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Kindred Hospital for your healthcare needs.

The staff is very nice. They go out of their way to make sure that my needs we're met. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I hope that I never have to go back to the hospital, but if I have to; I would like to come back to Kindred. I would recommend anybody to go or bring their loved ones to Kindred.

I would recommend anybody to come here because everybody cares about the patient. This is a great facility for anybody to bring their loved ones.My daughter was transferred to this facility and recovered very quickly but most importantly received all the medical care that she needed. They have great staff. I want to thank Maria,Kathy, Darlene,Cerite, Michele , Angie, Terry, Donna, Dawn,Mitch, June,Josephine, Denise and all those who took part in caring for my daughter, THANK YOU for all that you did. I know my daughter was not easy to take but you took good care of her. My family and I appreciate everything that you did.

The staff is very helpful to my mother. My mother has been a patient at Kindred Hospital three times so far and I am highly satisfied with the care. Also, her physicians all come here so my mother does like it.i would recommend Kindred to others needing these services.

Kindred Hospital came highly recommended to us by the ICU unit of another hospital where our family member spent three weeks after surgery. Their recommendation paled in comparison to the service and treatment she received. The staff was exceptional. They were compassionate, caring and attentive, not only to our loved one, but to our entire family.They kept us informed on each step of of her treatment and provided us with answers to our questions. We extend our heartfelt thanks and sincerest gratitude to all of the employees of Kindred who make it such an effective organization, but in particular those staff members with who we interacted with on a daily basis.

The staff made me feel that they were caring not only towards me but also with my sister.
They took care of my sister like she was their family. I was informed of everything that was going on with my sister's status. Everyone was honest and upfront with me about her situation. I felt the staff went out of their way to answer all my questions. I was even informed of the importance of obtaining a living will that I even got one for myself.

The staff is very caring. Respiratory therapists did an excellent job. My brother came into Kindred for respiratory issues and it was all resolve. Everyone was very attentive to his needs.
