Complaint about Dr. Gatuso

I had a 10:30 appointment this morning with Dr. Gatuso,instead of my primary physician, Dr. Haynes. I had a been assigned to Dr. Gatuso without any consultation with me. I was about to leave to check in by 10:15,, but at 10:00 I a received a phone call telling me that Dr. Gatuso had an emergency surgery and that my appointment would be rescheduled for tomorrow I was told that I knew that Dr. Gatuso was on call even though I had NOT been informed of this. I had asked that a prescription be renewed and I had been told that I could not get the prescription without an appointment.

I am incensed that they waited until 10:00 to call me and that if I had not taken the appointment for tomorrow that another would not be scheduled until three months from now. The doctor who I had never net would not extend the prescription until I had the appointment.

I will keep tomorrow's appointment but may not return to this practice in the future.

They have horrible customer service. They never answer the phone. Dr. Sopher is awesome but the staff is unprofessional. I gave this office a chance despite the awful reviews now i regret it. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and switching to Franklin square.

I would never refer Upper Chesapeake gyn to any woman. I have tried to schedule an appointment for my mom for two weeks now and she still does not have an appointment. I have to leave a message and someone will call you back to schedule an appointment My place of employment will not allow me to sit and wait for a return call. 443-421-2969
