I have a TYPE I juvenile diabetes and it's so hard to find a high risk OB that is actually certified in High Risk pregnancy to treat me. I went to 2 regular obgyn doctors who claimed they can treat high risk patients like me , just to find out that they are not certified in high risk. I am so upset until I found Dr. Hux. He has treated so many Type 1 before. Feel very comfortable and safe under his care. What's more!? He and his staff are available 24/7 days per week. He called me back 3 times during the pregnancy after 2 am to make sure I was OK. Thanks God finally!

HOW DO I THANK YOU! I came to Dr. Hux very depressed and worried at 23 weeks. I had developed premature aging of the placenta. I was totally devastated that my regular OB dumped me and no other doctors would treat me. I don't know how they do it there at his office but within couple of weeks of arrival, I completely felt different. His staff were so genuinely caring and reassuring. I no longer feel like a reject. I cried when I think about what a difference the right doctor and the right environment can really changed the way you feel about your whole pregnancy. My baby girl was born 5lb and 11oz. but healthy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I am ver pleased with dr. Hux'as treatment of my high blood pressure and placenta issues during my pregnancy. His staff really knows the meaning of accommodation. Will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Hux saved my life!!!

I was told you had to wait a little bit before you are seen in his office but that nobody is more experienced than him in the field, so I chose him as my high risk doc anyway. I am over 40 years old. I had a few healthy pregnancies but this one has been nothing but problems. I developed preemclampsia at 30 week. Instead of taking any chances when the protein level was high in my urine and my face and arm showed signs of edema, he immediately had me go to the hospital to be treated with magnesium. Had an inexperienced doc missed these signs, I could have had a stroke and die in the next few days. Dr. Hux spent endless time with me to make sure I was ok. My baby was small at birth but is doing great. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for his expertise. Dr. Hux truly is one of the most humble, caring, wonderful human beings there are. I don’t care even if I had to wait 3 hours to see him! HOW CAN YOU PUT A VALUE IN HUMAN LIFE? I would never go anywhere else.
